SalaryE-commerce company is seeking an Ops Mgr/Warehouse Manager to join their Warehouse Operations team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader that thrives in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for leading the team is a must.
In this role, you will lead the warehouse team (approx. 35 associates) alongside the Sr. Ops Manager and General Manager. The success of the warehouse depends on your ability to analyze data and then act on that data to create an efficient, safe, and productive working environment.
Responsibilities:
· Use data to plan, oversee, and direct all Warehouse Operations including shipping, receiving, returns, and inventory;
· Use KPI’s to drive an environment of continuous improvement and high production;
· Ensure staff is meeting productivity goals, oversee the safety of our people and products, and conduct operational and quality assurance reviews;
· Develop and implement action plans to improve performance;
· Provide direction and guidance in executing company programs;
· Monitor labor coast to stay within budget and be able to adjust labor levels according to sales volume;
· Implement plans to improve the financial performance of the warehouse;
· Leads strategic projects and assignments as required, under the direction of the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
· 5 years of proven leadership experience in a warehouse environment
· Ability to lead a team and develop junior supervisors
· Ability to jump in and help the team if the business need dictates
· Ability to obtain forklift certification/operate a forklift
