Overview:

The Warehouse Material Handler will be responsible for picking, receiving, and packing product in a timely and concise manner to help expedite operations.

Key Responsibilites:

· Effective team player with good communication skills that is proactive, positive, conscientious, organized and efficient.

· Must be able to multi-task, prioritize workload, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

· Communicates well verbally and in writing, in English, and in a professional manner.

· Capable of representing Johnstone Supply in a respectable and professional manner.

· Professional and courteous demeanor when working with customers and colleagues.

· Works in various warehouse roles as instructed by manager.

· Basic computer skills, including knowledge and skill in the use of inventory management systems and office software (e.g. Email programs, Internet browsers)

· Communicates well verbally and in writing, in English, and in a professional manner.

· Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.

· Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing.

· Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory.

· Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight.

· Perform and report cycle counts and Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.

· Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them.

· Completes all transactions and necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

· Maintain product data in Johnstone’s business system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
