As we recently opened our first subsidiary in the US (located in Chicago, IL), we are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to independently oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility.

Position Overview:

As the Warehouse Manager, you will be the sole leader responsible for the efficient and effective management of all warehouse activities. This includes overseeing the timely receipt, storage, and shipment of goods while strictly enforcing and adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs). This will also include some manual work. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a smooth workflow, optimizing processes, and ensuring a safe and compliant work environment by rigorously following processes. Our products will mainly be used in the medical field, which is extremely strict. You will be in contact with our headquarters located in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership:

o Independently manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

o Ensure strict compliance with all relevant processes.

o Communicate internally and with our headquarters in Europe.

• Quality Assurance:

o Enforce strict adherence to SOPs and quality standards.

o Implement and oversee quality control processes independently to ensure accurate shipments.

o Thoroughly understand client’s requirements regarding product packaging, handling and presentation of delivery to customer.

o Report to our headquarters in Europe.

• Machinery Operation:

o Forklift.

o Engage in hands-on tasks such as industrial sawing of metal bars or wood when necessary.

o Perform all operations necessary to build some crates to ensure safe transportation of our products.

• Inventory Management:

o Implement effective inventory control measures independently.

o Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.

o Coordinate with relevant departments to optimize stock levels and replenishments.

• Facility Maintenance:

o Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities independently.

o Ensure a safe and functional working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in independent warehouse management, with a track record of successful leadership.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety, inventory management, and logistics.
• Forklift certification.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant software and technology for inventory tracking and management.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management.
• Experience in inventory tracking and quality control is greatly appreciated.
