JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations in our sausage manufacturing company. This position requires hands-on involvement in machinery operation, supervising shipping and receiving procedures, inventory management, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, and assisting in production processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operation of Machinery:
• Ensure safe and productive operation of equipment, including forklifts, lift trucks, pallet jacks, and CDL/non-CDL trucks.
2. Supervising Shipping Procedures:
• Coordinate building and loading of orders for delivery and pick-up.
• Optimize route planning for efficient delivery schedules.
• Maintain product quality during sorting and loading.
• Prepare accurate shipping documents (BOL, Packing Lists, Invoices).
3. Supervising Receiving Procedures:
• Manage inspection and documentation of incoming goods.
• Oversee daily receiving entries in the computer system.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of incoming materials.
4. Inventory & Cycle Counts:
• Conduct daily raw material counts and weekly critical supply inventories.
• Maintain a clean, organized inventory area.
• Execute inventory cycle counting, monthly reconciliations, and system updates.
5. Department Safety & Cleaning Upkeep:
• Uphold a clean, safe work environment.
• Monitor trucks for safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping and safety standards.
• Coordinate with other departments for waste disposal and maintenance.
6. Production Assistance:
• Retrieve and allocate raw materials from storage.
• Maintain strong communication with production and management regarding order status.
7. Additional Responsibilities:
• Adapting to changes or new assignments as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License with capability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role, preferably in food manufacturing.

JOB SKILLS
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Forklift driving experience with relevant licensing.
• Strong attention to detail and urgency.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and conflict management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle ambiguous situations.
• High standards of excellence and strong work ethic.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends as business demands
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for various times throughout the shift, to move or traverse in manufacturing area safely, to ascend/descend a ladder or stairs, to position self to work on manufacturing equipment
• Ability to see information postings throughout the facility, visually troubleshoot items on machinery and read directions, documents, and signage
• Ability to frequently move objects weighing up to 50-75 pounds and to work in very hot or very cold conditions.
