Job Title: Warehouse Loader and Event Driver
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and versatile employee who will be responsible for loading/unloading trucks prior and post events, operate company trucks for transporting event materials to and from events and warehouse while assisting in any event day cleanup. This dynamic role involves transporting event equipment and supplies, ensuring they're safe and timely delivery, and assisting with any company needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving Company Vehicles: Safely operate a company truck to transport event materials to and from event locations. Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations during transit. Follow routes to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient use of resources.
Loading and Unloading: Load event equipment, supplies, and materials onto the truck before each event.
Unload and stage items at event locations with a team, ensuring proper placement. Carefully handle and protect event items to prevent damage. Communicate with event leads to ensure all items are loaded before leaving warehouse.
Stock Room Organization: Keep the stock room organized and orderly, ensuring that items are easily accessible and properly labeled.
Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a box truck driver, with knowledge of safe driving practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing event needs.
- Familiarity with event setup and materials is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
· Must be able to work on your feet as well as stationary for at least 10 hours daily
· Fast paced movements are required
· Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 50 pounds
· Kneel, bend, crouch and climb ladders
Pay Range: $20-$25 Hourly
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
