Santa Monica Seafood, a family-owned company, has been in the seafood business for over 80 years. We are searching for experienced warehouse pickers, receivers, dock and freezer associates who can help us achieve our planned growth in Thornton, CO by providing excellent customer service.
Duties include:
- Receiving and unloading of incoming product
- Inspects fresh product returns and ensures proper handling.
- Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
- Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- inventory – verify count, product, and put away
- Order pulling – bulk pull product, order assembly, order staging
- Staging and Loading trucks for next day delivery
- High level of accuracy and detail oriented
- Labeling packages, shipments etc.
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
Qualifications:
- High energy and enthusiastic.
- High school diploma or equivalent required,
- excellent time management, organizational, problem solving and communications skills required;
- ability to multitask and prioritize;
- ability to work individually and as a part of a team;
- must have a high level of accuracy and be detail oriented;
- mature, professional attitude; must have a consistent work history and excellent safety record.
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- Must be able to work in cold and wet environment.
