Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead is a key link between the company and its customer base of collision repair shops in the region. The goal for each Warehouse Lead is to provide support to a fast-paced Warehouse Team. A successful Warehouse Lead will be able to be a contributor to the workflow of the department that oversees the warehouse operations and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Safety and Warehouse Processes training
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse (Building and Equipment maintenance following safety regulations; trash clean up, facility repairs or equipment repair)
- Assist in physical labor
- Instruct, direct and work along with a team assigned by a Warehouse Supervisor while working on any specific warehouse task to meet deadlines (Shipping, Receiving, Maintenance, Quality Control)
- Communicate with Supervisors—Update on assigned tasks/warehouse associate progress/issues or adjustments when needed
- Troubleshoot problems associated with daily operations in major warehouse tasks (Receiving, Shipping, Maintenance and Quality Control)
- An ability to interpret KPIs and guide the team to achieve the goals set forth

- Staging, loading, unloading parts, and stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory
- Responsibilities include pulling orders for delivery and shipment
- Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
- Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
