What You Will Do
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Kitting Associate to support our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling kits of materials and components according to provided specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the kitting process. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
A Typical Day at Prime Controls
- Kit Assembly - Accurately assemble kits of materials and components according to provided instructions and specifications.
- Inventory Management - Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by recording materials used in kit assembly and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
- Quality Control -Conduct quality checks on assembled kits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards.
- Organization - Keep work area clean, organized, and free of clutter to facilitate efficient workflow and safe working conditions.
- Collaboration - Work closely with other warehouse team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.
- Safety Compliance - Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Equipment Operation - Operate warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently as required.
The Basic
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
