Job Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using electronic tracking systems.
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory items.
- Receiving and Inspection:
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect items for damage, and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Document and report any discrepancies or damaged goods to appropriate personnel.
- Quality Control:
- Perform regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet the established standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, disbursements, and returns.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with warehouse team members, logistics personnel, and other departments to streamline inventory processes.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50+ lbs) and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and warehouse safety protocols.
