Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Orbit Healthcare is a fast-growing fulfillment and transportation company seeking to add to its team of supply chain experts.

Inbound Operations

• Complete inbound trailer inspections as needed and document using Orbit systems.
• Check-in inbound product comparing systemic and physical documents for accuracy.

Outbound Operations

• Select product based on direction provided in hand-held devices.
• Pick and stage outbound orders that ship via courier delivery service or other delivery service.
• Verify that product pulled is from correct pallet and that lots and date codes match system (as required).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Track incoming and outgoing products
• Provide inventory control reports as required
• Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
• Updating database with incoming and outgoing products
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Inventory Putaways
• Maintain a safety while using equipment and tools.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Skill Set

• Must be organized, able to work independently, and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
• Knowledge and experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Highly organized with a careful attention to detail.
• Effective communicator, verbal and written communication, comfortable interacting with customers and internal partners in a professional manner in person and via the phone.
• Picking technology: RF scanner, hand-held picking technology.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work while standing, bending, or reaching.
• Must be able to be on foot (standing / walking) throughout the shift.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Basic problem-solving skills to resolve order issues.

• Inventory management

Education

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.

Lift Truck Operation

• Experience on a Narrow Aisle Reach Truck is Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
