SUMMARY:

Assembles furniture for customers in home delivery, ensuring top-notch quality and customer satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in helping us create positive, memorable experiences for our customers in their homes.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Opens and inspects furniture to ensure all merchandise is in perfect condition.
• Ensures merchandise is staged in routes in an organized manner.
• Reads and follows directions for assembly.
• Properly assembles furniture in a timely manner.5.
• Assists with warehouse organization to maintain safety guidelines.
• Must wear all the required safety equipment.
• Use tools including power tools for assembly.
• Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to perform work independently and as a team to successfully complete the duties of the job satisfactorily.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals with attention to detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work requires the ability to lift and carry items with or without the assistance of another person or equipment. The use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity are necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push/pull, or balance weight for extended periods of time. May use dolly type equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may operate common warehouse equipment using proper safety procedures to eliminate any potential hazards.
