COMPREHENSIVE JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist
REPORT TO: Operations Project Manager
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for processing, packaging, and shipping orders accurately. Will ensure that stock and inventory are well-organized and maintained. Examine and inspect products for defects and damages. Responsible for product once the transportation team removes the product from the truck. Processing and arranging inventory items appropriately in the warehouse. Required to move product to different space as needed and efficiently operate necessary and required equipment.
Actively participate and contribute ideas on ways to improve and/or optimize warehousing procedures. Follow all safety regulations and practices in place.
Communications skills are required to effectively interact with team members as well as attention to detail.
Employee will annually review the Corporate Responsibility Policy to ensure departmental compliance with it. Make suggestions for revisions, additions, etc.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE REQUIRED
Elementary school is helpful, but not required. No other education is required. Proficient in math ( addition/subtraction). Experience in Excel, Word and Google Docs are preferred but not required.
HOURS WORKED
The employee is normally scheduled on a weekly basis, a maximum of twenty-nine (29) hours.
NUMBER OF DAYS WORKED
May vary, but normally five days a week.
OVERTIME HOURS
Generally overtime hours are not scheduled; however, overtime may be required based on the needs of the company.
