About the position:
We are presently seeking a Warehouse Driver in Buffalo, NY. In addition to a starting wage of $44.45 per hour, we offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k) plan, vacation, tuition assistance and more. Under general supervision to safely drive and operate tractor-trailers to deliver material/equipment to and from National Grid facilities, contractor job sites and other various locations. To operate, load/unload mobile equipment onto trailer. Drivers will be required to sort, handle load and unload freight at Company and Customer locations. Operate Mobile Equipment at CDC, Crew locations, Contractor and Company Job sites/locations. Work half the time in warehouse picking material and stock handler capacity when not driving. Ride with new drivers for Safety & Training of delivery routes & Company locations.
Job Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years driving experience with CDL A unrestricted license
- Must obtain an M Coil Endorsement within 3 months of hire
- Must obtain a valid Forklift license within 3 months of hire
- Must pass valid aptitude test
- Lifting, Carrying and counting at proper heights & weight limits.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid drivers license
Salary:
- Hourly/ $44.45

As such, the Company’s testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.
