ProFloors is a FULL-SERVICE Multifamily Flooring provider that is passionate about having the best team in the industry to provide the best quality installation and service to customers. the warehouse/closing manager position plays an integral role in the operations team and requires daily duties within operations, purchasing, scheduling and the warehouse
Hours:
· Close Tuesday Thru Friday Hrs. 10:30am – 8:30pm/finish
· Open & Close on Saturdays Hrs. 6:00am – 4:00pm/finish
Warehouse/Purchasing related duties:
Manage Carpet Recycling trailer
Support ops with Waste Management as needed
Order Pad Bale Wire
Oversee the yard cleanliness – garbage, bales, wood, cardboard, and recycling
Manage whse employees
Make sure the Cage is stocked for next day load out
Make sure the cage is clean
Make sure all deliveries are physically received correct
Make sure all deliveries are put away
Oversee whse cleanliness & organization – garbage, recycling: all materials labeled and in proper place
Make sure all cuts are completed and staged
Make sure all orders are allocated for next day
Cross check schedule cover to physical materials to ensure everything is cut and staged
Send screen shot of cut sheet maintenance daily
Work with commercial team for staging bids using the cut sheet info provided
Send pictures of staged materials to commercial team as necessary
Ensure cycle counts are being done daily
Cycle count all products and sundries at least 1x per quarter and 4 times before year-end inventory
Ensure returns are processed daily
Ensure return log is being filled out and all inventory in system
Make sure all materials are dated when received
Make sure all aging material is used up first and rotated
Inventory Purge daily items 3 ft or less
Keep track of Non stock material log
Ensure warehouse is creating usable rems 12x12 and fall off for stairs and small baths
Make sure whse is using leftover rems and balances (max 4 balances per color)
Maintain conference room cleanliness
Maintain forklift and warehouse equipment
Pad carts staged and ready for load out
Pad balances stocked and ready for load out
Lock all fences and doors prior to leaving - Alarm on
Scheduling/Operation related duties:
Schedule the installation crews Tuesday - Saturday
Coordinate with Sac closing manager for installers
Communicate with Operations and sales regarding product shortages
Support any operational needs for deliveries for installer shortages
Print work order for the schedules
Put floorplans with work orders each day
Highlight key information on work orders
Add pad balances on the work orders
Print returns & have ready for load out
Use ERP for scheduling and assign all installers
Ensure installers are getting rotated
Ensure crew is being scheduled fairly and evenly
Document any issues & send pm report daily
Communicate any material changes, pricing, or work order changes by emailing and adding DNI notes
Limit and control overtime and warehouse labor
Schedule installer trainings daily
