Warehouse Clerk

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

From written or verbal instructions, performs a variety of duties in the Warehouse Department. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Picks items from stock, packages and/or combines as specified on the order; labels, weighs, and records quantities on shipping papers; moves order to specified location; furnishes all necessary information to the Warehouse Lead person for final bill of lading.
• Receives all incoming material and returned goods or parts for plant use.
• Verifies quantities received against purchase order.
• Issues, routes, and delivers incoming parts to proper department(s).
• Requires the use of all types of material handling equipment in the performance of the job.
• To move anything required of the warehouse department, including but not limited to storing finished goods, returned goods, unloading and loading trucks, and moving goods received to proper department.
• Assists in regular cycle counts, and full physical inventory.

All employees are required to:

• Abide by safety policies, operator preventative maintenance and housekeeping practices as prescribed
• Ensure the quality specifications of the product as prescribed
• Accurately complete process and quality documentation as prescribed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work with limited supervision

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
