Job Title:Receiving/Warehouse Clerk

SUMMARY
Receives, stores and distributes material and products by performing the following duties in support of Milcut's Quality Policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in such a manner that you get along with customers, suppliers, coworkers and management.
- Unload truckloads and partial loads of materials using battery powered forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify quantities of the material.
- Inspect the material, verify the condition of the material and document material that is damaged.
- Contact the supplier or buyer if the required certification of compliance is not available at time of delivery.
- Identify any discrepancies with packing slip and quantities and communicate these to Purchasing.
- Receive the material into inventory system and properly tag material.
- Place material in warehouse and use designated areas as necessary.
- Perform regular cycle counts as a part of Inventory Control System.
- As determined by production or time phase reports, stage material to be transferred from warehouse to production.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of warehouse.
- Deliver material from warehouse to production plant and unload the material as needed.
- Make other deliveries when necessary.
- Generate pack lists, labels, bar code labels when required.
- Cross-train in other areas of Shipping.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Maintain computer literacy on PC using company's chosen software products and on in-house systems as applicable to position responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability
to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written
or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Forklift operator’s license and driver’s license

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
