What to Expect in the Role:
- Performs various types of product packing and shipping in a timely manner in accordance with established procedures.
- Audits each customer shipment, prior to packing to ensure goods match order specifications.
- Responsible for making sure shipments are checked against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
- Processes courier packages for shipping using computer manifest system.
- Process all outbound mail and make sure it is delivered to the post office daily.
- Participate in scheduling weekly replenishment from backstock warehouse.
- Assist customer service manager in initiating and resolving courier claims.
- Help fill transfers of finished goods to different departments and participate in receiving transfers from other departments. Review stock levels of retail locations and replenish based on observations made.
- Help to maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Maintain proper stock levels of shipping supplies. Alert supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
- Review warehouse stock levels and provide ordering recommendations based on observations.
- Perform other duties required in the daily operation of the distribution center.
- Assist in maintaining housekeeping standards in warehouse. Keep a level of organization and maintain work areas clean.
- Carrying out all tasks as assigned by the warehouse shipping & receiving supervisor / manager.
- Process customer returns and exchanges daily.
- Review reports. Orders to be fulfilled, express orders and back orders are some of the examples.
- Review open Purchase orders and communicate with vendors regarding the timely delivery of merchandise.
- Personalize and stamp leather goods based on customer requests.
What We Will Be Needing From You:
- Must be able to operate forklift under company certification.
- Should be knowledgeable of using Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with the Bill of Ladings, Manifest Entries.
- Should possess strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Must have a sense of urgency and accuracy.
- Should have the ability to manage time and carry out orders efficiently and effectively.
- Should be compliant with all safety rind legal documentation processes of a clerk's office.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company’s auto policy.
- High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school.
- Minimum one year of related experience.
