The Cleaner position provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.
Essential Functions
- Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
- Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Pay: $16.50 Hourly Rate

Responsibilities
- Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping or vacuuming them.
- Clean the assigned area in a distribution or fulfillment center.
- Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Sometimes using ladders, dusts, walls, machines, and equipment; and dusts and polishes light fixtures.
- Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Will remove stains/ spills from such surfaces as rugs, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
- Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
- Gathers and empties trash
- Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
- Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
- Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms
- Periodically cleans overhead vents, dusts blinds
- Cleans windows, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
- Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order
- Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
- This role will require you to be constantly on the move for an 10-hour shift which leads to miles of walking in one shift
- Moving and stacking pallets or cutting down cardboard boxes
- Bending is required in cleaning high and low spaces in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
