2nd and 3rd shift Warehouse Associates (Los Angeles/Santa Fe Springs)

****A SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL HAS BEEN ADDED FOR 3rd SHIFT POSITIONS****
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Load and unload freight in a safe, efficient manner to avoid shipping errors that result in customer claims or complaints.
- Load and unload trailers
- Perform re-weighs for each shift
- Perform daily freight inspections and inspection of lift truck and other equipment
- Inspects trailers for suitability before loading
- Perform basic housekeeping
- Recoup/palletize/shrink wrap freight as needed
- Perform other duties as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of basic dock procedure
- Forklift experience in a dock setting
- Ability to identify, and report on recurring problems/safety issues
- 1-2 years of forklift experience
- Forklift certification is wanted but not required
