What We're Looking For

We're seeking an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented person with at least 3 years of warehouse experience to join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator for our Atlanta location. Multi-tasking and a great attitude is a MUST. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday.

The ideal candidate must be able to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards and have reliable transportation to and from work. You take great pride in tackling challenges. You're looking for a company where you can learn and grow.

Job duties

• Operate forklift and utilize other heavy equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
• Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shifts.
• Safely perform the material handling and storeroom functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials equipment and supplies.
• Operates handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
• Performs housekeeping functions as required.
• Use skills to process orders in ERP systems. Not limited to troubleshooting issues and implementing and documenting ways to make warehouse more efficient.

Requirements

• 3+ years of warehouse experience and proficiency with UPS, FEDEX, LTL, DHL, USPS.
• 1+ years of Forklift driving experience required. Certification highly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, Shipping and Receiving.
• 3+ years of demonstrated proficiency with shipping software.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and great problem-solving skills
• A demonstrated history of being trustworthy, accountable, and reliable
• Able to learn quickly and not afraid to try new things
• Proficiency in English and another language is a plus (French, Creole, Spanish, Amharic, Portuguese)

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Use of pallet jacks; use of sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
