AIS Installations is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to be part of their team at the Sterling Heights warehouse. As a Warehouse Worker, your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse. Here are the key responsibilities:
- Preparing and Completing Orders: You’ll be responsible for preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to the specified schedule. This involves tasks such as loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping items.
- Receiving and Processing Stock: You’ll handle receiving and processing warehouse stock products. This includes tasks like picking items, unloading deliveries, labeling products, and storing them appropriately.
- Inventory Control: Maintaining accurate inventory records is essential. You’ll perform inventory controls to ensure stock accuracy and quality standards, especially for audits.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Keeping the warehouse environment clean and safe is crucial. You’ll optimize space utilization, report any discrepancies, and operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication with supervisors and coworkers is essential. You’ll work collaboratively to achieve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Current forklift license.
- High school degree.

- Fencing Knowledge
- Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents
- Pick merchandise from the warehouse and transport it to the shipping bay for contractors
- Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Must pass a background check
- Have a current drivers license
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Current forklift certification a plus
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Must have Chauffeurs License'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
