Handling duties of the warehouse receiving, responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, staging All picked orders (production orders and Customer orders), managing, organizing and retrieving stock, unloading and stocking merchandise while checking the quantity and quality of the merchandise. Shelve and organize inventory and keep the warehouse clean and orderly. Inventory checks and inventory reporting. Participation in daily cycle counts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safe operation of the forklift vehicle including performance of a daily pre-shift and Operational Safety Checklist in compliance with all OSHA standards.
- Material handling as required throughout the production, warehouse and shipping areas.
- Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs.
- Picking and preparing All production orders and Customer orders while staging them in the instructed areas.
- Unloading All Incoming trucks and containers – Both Raw Materials and FG (Returns).
- Responsible for sampling all inbound raw materials in a timely manner before moving to racks or staged lanes.
- Responsible for getting all collected samples to the QA lab and signing the Chain of Custody document.
- Checking weights of incoming raw materials.
- Perform checks after each movement of pallets to catch errors (LX-03)
- Must maintain warehouse in a neat and orderly manner
- Responsible for loading All waste materials in the waste area according to SOP.
- Willing to learn to operate jockey truck.
- Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s
- Committed to providing a safe food product and work within all regulatory requirements.
- Attend Warehouse Team board meeting and Timely completion of Safety skills monthly.
About you:
- High school diploma or equivalent, computer experience a plus
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Team player with good communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to work in a hot environment and move freely around the building
