Warehouse Associate

JOB OVERVIEW

The Key Objective of the Warehouse ASsociate is to contribute to the growth and profitability of Multi-Pak by effectively executing the functions of Warehouse. Specifically, under the general direction of the Warehouse Supervisor/Warehouse Manager, he/she is responsible to perform the tasks as instructed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Key Objective of the Warehouse Associate is achieved if the annual review shows that:

1. Receiving and Shipping functions are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner and according to all SOPs and cGMPs.

a. Trucks are checked for damage or debris before loading or unloading.

b. Confirming the shipping documents match the finished goods before unloading or loading.

c. Conducting the accurate breakdowns of receiving.

d. Finished goods are checked for accuracy and damage before loading.

2. Accurate picking and transfer records are kept on all outbound inventory.

a. Pick tickets are filled out completely and accurately.

b. Transfers are staged in an orderly manner and paperwork is legible and accurate.

c. All production rooms are staged accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the startup of production lines.

d. All pallets moved have an accurate pallet tag attached.

e. Trucks are loaded accurately and safely.

3. Ensures that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.

a. Pallets are staged in warehouse per the warehouse layout.

b. Garbage is disposed daily.

c. Floors are swept and kept free of debris.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. A collaborative and positive attitude is required. A desire to learn is exhibited.

2. A high school graduate with experience in shipping, receiving and inventory management for a manufacturing company.

3. English is required; Bi-lingual is a plus (English-Spanish).

4. Previous certification demonstrating ability to drive a forklift.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Manager: Warehouse Supervisor/Manager

Managerial Responsibility: None

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

· Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds on occasion.

· Must be able to walk or stand up to 90% of the time.

· The person in this position is sometimes required to function in narrow aisles or passageways while walking throughout the warehouse area.

· The person in this position will need to occasionally kneel, climb, crawl, and/or reach to complete their job duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $41,500.00 per year
