Job Description:
This position is a member of the location warehouse team responsible for order pulling, inbound receiving, housekeeping and other warehouse tasks. This role is also responsible for working closely with the team and supervisor to ensure all assigned tasks are done timely and accurately. The role requires excellent communication skills, sense of urgency, and consistent timely follow up.
50% order selecting, put away and scanning; 40% - Housekeeping; 10%- Other warehouse tasks. Keen sense of safety and to abide by all safety rules and regulations. Equipment operating (reach truck [certified] and pallet Jack); Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Job Title: Level 2 – Warehouse Associate
Days worked: Monday – Friday Shift
Hours: 2p-10:30p but candidate needs to have flexibility to work 1st and 3rd shift. Will be given notice.
Training hours: 3rd shift 10p-6:30am, lasting approximately 4 weeks
Location Details: 100% ONSITE
Will be a 1-year contract position. Has opportunity to apply for a perm role
Requirements:
Forklift and pallet jack experience
Forklift certified
Lift up to 50 lbs
HS Diploma or equivalent
Will be outside occasionally, inside is temperature controlled
Onboarding:
Background screen required
Drug Test required
Physical (with lift assessment, up to 50lbs) required
Audiogram/respirator test required
