POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate will be involved with all warehouse operations related to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and operating forklifts to store materials and other warehouse-related activities. The ideal candidate must be dedicated to maintaining a high-quality work environment and being a team player. The Warehouse Associate must be hard-working, organized, and detail-oriented.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
Daily housekeeping of warehouse.
Pick and pack parts for customer orders.
Receive and stock freight in hard locations.
Assemble and stock modification kits.
Process receiving documents; prepare Bill of Lading / Airway Billing.
Loading and unloading of LTL and small package carrier trucks.
Initiates good customer services by giving prompt, efficient and friendly service to internal and external customers.
Abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
Abides by all safety rules and uses all appropriate safety equipment.
Cleaning and/or dusting shelving units and workstations. Sweeping floors in an open area and under racks.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 10% depending on business needs.

High School Diploma / GED
Strong Familiarity with general warehouse operations
Ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to use PC with SAP
Good verbal communication skills and legible handwriting.
Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
Strong organizational skills

Strong attention to detail with the ability to process information and understand discrepancies between data.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work well with others to keep things running smoothly.
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage time effectively by using the right documentation to know how much inventory is on hand at any given moment.

Warehouse environment – fluctuations in temperature. Able to work in extreme temperatures of hot and cold.
Workshop/Warehouse environment – working with and around equipment such as forklifts to move heavy items throughout the warehouse.
