The Position

The Warehouse Associate’s primary responsibility is to ensure that inventory is properly received, stocked and delivered to or picked up from customers in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner, while providing the highest possible level of customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license w/ no pending infractions
• 1-2yrs previous warehouse experience preferred but not required if you’re motived to learn
• Great communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills
• Very Dependable and Reliable
• Data entry and basic computer skills required
• Initial onboarding as well as on the job training will be provided
• Initial background and drug screening required

The performance of essential job functions for this position requires both access to valuable assets and interaction with others under potentially stressful conditions. Therefore, individuals demonstrating a history of illegal substance abuse, theft, or violence present a higher risk of loss and may be disqualified.

Key Position Details & Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, pallets and checking in merchandise.
• Prepares customer orders by processing requests and supply needs, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area, etc.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Open and unpack bales, crates, pallets and other containers.
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock orders, special orders, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. This position will also assist in counting physical inventory.
• Prepare parcels for shipment via USPS, UPS, FEDEX, LTL, or company delivery trucks.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping warehouse, shelves, receiving area, and workstations neat, clean, and well organized.
• Wear the proper safety equipment as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle requirements from our clients and customers.
• Operate equipment and machines, such as trucks, forklifts, etc.

Physical Demands and Abilities

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75lbs using the proper equipment (i.e., hand truck or forklift)
• Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to climb up to 6’ using proper equipment and balance

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour (*based on experience)
