Job Description
- Receives, counts and records shipment data into the inventory systems. Matches packing list information to actual packed raw materials. Prepares raw material for storage in a warehouse.
- Pack, unpack, and mark stock items, using identification tags properly.
- Deliver raw materials, supplies, and equipment to designated areas. May need to operate a forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.
- Verify computations against physical count of stock. Examine and inspect stock raw materials for cycle count of inventory.
- Maintains the condition of the work area (i.e. free of trash, raw materials, supplies in the correct location, etc.).
- Follows company safety policies and procedures.
- Loads/Unloads containers accordingly for incoming and outgoing shipments. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to add and subtract.
- Ability to read, write and speak English is preferred.
- Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Consistently at work and on time.
- Knowledge of the Netsuite operating system is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Ability to read/hear, interpret, and understand instructions given written or verbally in English
- Ability to perform in a detail-oriented environment, fast-paced environment while complying with QualitySystem SOPs, work instructions, drawings, GMP, GDP, ISO and FDA requirements
- 2+ years' experience in shipping, receiving, and/or warehousing
- Ability to operate a forklift and/or a narrow-aisle lift truck, pallet jack, dolly, push-cart
- Ability to work/interact with supervisor and production floor team leads.
