Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join the Nordic Wave team as Warehouse Lead. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position is very likely to be promoted to warehouse manager if the candidate proves they have the work ethic and skills required to perform that duty.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming stock, ensuring accuracy in quantities and specifications.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, meeting quality standards.
• Assist in loading and unloading shipments from trucks.
• Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring easy accessibility.
• Conduct regular stock checks to identify discrepancies and report them to the supervisor.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of packaging materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 55 pounds).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• This is a full-time or part-time position, with an average of 40 (full-time) or 20-30 hours (part-time) per week. Specific hours and schedule may vary based on business needs.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
