JOB TITLE: Warehouse/Distribution Worker
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Ft Myers Warehouse

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Team Leader

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE (Basic purpose of job)

The Warehouse/Distribution Worker position performs an array of functions that may include reviewing and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse/distribution center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area.
• Complete deliveries by driving truck to and from customers.
• Ensure trailers, loaded or empty, are thoroughly checked out at the Caboose. Trailer doors must be open and ready for inspection upon leaving yard.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Utilize computer to track shipments and inventory.
• Coordinate warehouse operations to support internal and external customers.
• Wear proper safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental health, safety and corporate regulations.
• All other duties, as required or needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Certified Forklift Operator
• 1-3 years working experience in warehouse/distribution center
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communication clearly
• Highly motivated, results oriented, driven
• Hours are 2:30am to 6:30am

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and see. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Ability to drive safely on a daily basis.
