Warehouse Associate

Stratis Visuals, a leading national provider of retail and point of sale signage and displays, is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Shipping & Receiving Clerk.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily shipments, following procedures and methods to meet customer delivery requirements and production schedules. Work with Stratis-CT in material transfers.
• Utilize PC-based shipping workflow tools for FedEx, UPS, LTLs, and local couriers. Work closely with carrier reps to solve problems and improve workflow.
• Fulfill customer orders, including pulling from production and finished goods inventory, packing, weighing, labeling, and generating tracking information.
• Follow procedures for receiving incoming material and 3rd party items, inspect cartons and skidded material, maintain system counts and follow packing slip processes.
• Support Warehouse team in maintaining accurate inventory counts for company-owned and customer-owned finished goods, including material transactions for job decrements.
• Safely operate fork trucks and hand trucks to move and store materials and goods.
• Support other work centers during peak loads including Kitting and Bindery. Periodically provide basic direction to temporary associates. Secure and pack pallets for LTL and truck shipments.
• Maintain, support, and implement continuous improvements based on lean thinking.

Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving workflow, including experience working with major carriers, LTLs, and other logistic support.
• Ability to handle a high-pressure work environment, including tight delivery schedules and demanding customers.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to consistently communicate with management, peers, and customers, as required.

• Certified training in fork truck and hand truck operation.
• Ability to be flexible, follow direction, and work periodic overtime, including weekends.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and related inventory modules is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office: MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
