This dynamic position is part of our Warehouse Team is responsible for assisting in the smooth, efficient warehouse operations of Tomales Bay Foods, the distribution arm of our company. You will work with the Warehouse Supervisor to accomplish daily and weekly tasks, with an emphasis on safety and quality. This position regularly works in the company ERP system where accuracy and data integrity are critical. Our Warehouse Team cross-trains in all warehouse functions, so you'll be exposed to a bit of everything we do.
What You'll Do:
- Participate in all daily warehouse tasks including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment, working the company's ERP or other computer systems as appropriate.
- Participate in regular warehouse tasks such as cycle counts, cleaning, etc.
- Ensure consistent quality of cheeses by following proper cheese care and rotation guidelines
- Help keep our warehouse clean and organized
- Assist with E-commerce fulfillments as needed
What You Bring:
- Previous experience working in an ERP system or WMS preferred, but not required
- Working comfort with technological systems (ex: computers, handheld scanners, etc)
- Forklift experience & certification is a plus
- An efficient, detail-oriented work style
- Enjoyment of teamwork and an eye for continuous improvement
- Willingness to communicate openly with teammates & take ownership of work
Perks & Pay:
- This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Pay range is $21-27/hr, new/entry level placements can expect to start at the beginning of range.
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, daytime shift.
