SalaryJob Purpose:
Provide support for assigned functional department(s).
General Description:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Must be able to list 100 lbs assisted
A helper is assigned to various job functions as needed to assist with order fulfilment. Assignments will usually be in Operations, service, install, warehouse and production.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
Assist Production with loading and unloading trucks.
Inspect products for defects and damage.
Deliver products to customers.
Maintain and manage warehouse.
Maintain paperwork flow between the warehouse and the office.
Assist service technicians with repairs.
Assist install crews with product installation.
Assist millwork with making wood trim and moldings.
Generate ideas for improving efficiency or cutting cost.
Follow all safety procedures.
Timely attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Good people skills.
A positive attitude.
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
Flexibility to complete assigned tasks from more than one department.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to learn and use hand tools.
Ability to climb a ladder or scaffolding as needed.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.03 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
