We are looking for the right person to fill our Full Time Warehouse Assistant Manager position at our Grand Forks Thrift Store. A person who is proactive, detail-oriented, works with integrity, exercises strong organizational skills, and takes initiative! This is a full-time position with some weekends. The store/warehouse is open Monday- Sunday.
About this Role:
- Supports all store/warehouse employees in carrying out organizational goals and activities in a positive manner.
- Experience in leading, managing, and developing a team of warehouse associates.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager in recruiting, training, supervising, assigning and motivating staff, volunteers, and community service workers.
- Establish and maintain designated work areas and arrange as needed; always ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment. Ensure proper working conditions of work areas, grounds, trucks, tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Understand and hold team accountable to meet quality standards of all saleable items
- At least two years in a supervisory capacity is required for this position.
- Ability to fill in for driver role as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, have an active driver's license and insurable driving record, must pass a DOT physical, have a High School diploma or GED, and be able to pass a criminal background check. A CDL license is not required.
