Warehouse Assistant Manager

Responsibilities of Warehouse:but not limited to:

• Assist with managing the in-bound receiving, out-bound shipping, warehouse & all workshops handling and distribution, and storage of all freight, raw materials, bulk finish products, packaging components, machines, and lab equipment, all type of materials that come in and out of AHF’s warehouse.
• Ensure all production orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules and GMP Compliance.
• Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties.
• Maintain strict control over inventory levels to meet internal and external demand of product.
• Plan warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
• Account full implications of freight turnover, size, weight, and other factors when allocating warehouse space.
• Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and/or hazardous materials.
• Help supervise warehouse employees, when needed.
• Conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment.
• Identify discrepancies between inventory records and take action.
• Investigate causes of damaged shipments and other matters.
• Ensure handling of returned goods as advised by QA.
• Ensure proper storage of all materials in warehouse as per GMP requirements as well as handling & storing of rejected materials/solid waste at the designated areas with all appropriate & applicable labels.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and monitoring of humidity & temperature control within warehouse area.
• Inform QA & production designees for the materials due for retesting in a timely manner as per firm’s policy.
• Assisting Production Dept Manager all signed work assignments for all workshops.
• Well organize the Open Order Production Schedule Sheet with approval by Manager.
• Manage SAP, BOM, BOO & generate packing slips as well as new component documentation and input.
• Assist with managing all SAP functions related to warehousing incoming and out-going shipments and inventory, let the Cost Accountant or Operation Manager double check and sign all the in-bound and out-bound documents (BOL, Packing List, Invoices, Payment).
• Assist Manager on the outside warehouse detail record process, connection, and collaborations.
• Evaluate work in process and make real-time decisions concerning actions to be taken in response to unexpected events.
• Label and identify allergen-containing goods. Additionally, allergen-specific material should be kept in a separate location.
• Assist and help coordinate with Operation Head and other department’s managers to ensure production is proceeding as per company priorities and published schedules.
• Generate production output weekly reports based on each workshop of Packaging, Blending, Encapsulation, Compression, Stick Pack,
• Monitoring the packaging component and finished goods inventory using SAP system.
• Ensure all actions in area of responsibility are conducted as per FDA, cGMP’s, and regulations from other government agencies such as OSHA, EPA, DEA, etc. (as applicable).
• Follow OHSA regulations based on equipment design, equipment manufacturer recommendations, and AHF building requirements for health and safety.
• Follow the company all related SOPs and Policies.
• Identify and implement productivity improvements within the warehouse & production stagging area’s.
• Perform any additional administrative duties required to maintain the production schedule.
• Protect the company property, avoid any unnecessary waste, lost, help improving the production efficiency and any cost saving.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management.

Skills and Abilities:

• Good computer and mathematical skills
• High level of organization
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed.
• Knowledge of cGMP’s and SOP’s
• Must be able to function in an environment where dust and loose particles are present.
