Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Workshop Coordinator. This role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory levels, fabricating metal parts in our workshop, and handling various tasks related to construction project estimates and product sales. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to ensure the smooth functioning of our Warehouse and Workshop.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
- Organize and optimize warehouse space for efficient storage.
- Fulfill and track customer orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Workshop Fabrication:
- Fabricate metal parts using various tools and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines during fabrication processes.
- Maintain and repair tools and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Driving Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles, including trucks, for local pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and comply with safety standards.
- Track and schedule routine vehicle maintenance.
Construction Project Support:
- Assist in estimating construction projects, including material and labor costs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate product information and pricing.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and provide assistance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and fabrication.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in metal fabrication.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
