Warehouse and Shipping

The Warehouse position at Tensility serves bothTensility Motor Sports & Tensility International. TMS is a growing business in the after-market racing world. Tensility International is an established brand in the B2B electronics space. We design cables, wires, and connectors for a variety of industries, including wearables, LED lighting, film-making, electronics, and automation.

The role is cyclical with big shipments coming in and out a couple of times a month; daily there are incoming and outgoing smaller shipments. In between those duties, this role keeps up the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, manages the fleet, and helps with other facilities-relegated tasks.

The Warehouse and Shipping department deals with the physical “what” of Tensility’s business—the product. This position protects the physical embodiment of the work of the entire team, and is the last touch point of our brand. Accuracy in work is important, as every action can have a positive or negative effect on co-workers, productivity, and profit. This position champions perfection in our product, the products’ disposition, and the efficiency of getting it to our customer.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Unload and load trucks using a forklift or other equipment
- Verify and document the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Pick and pack orders for shipment
- Prepare shipping labels and documents
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
-Able to use computers, including Microsoft products such as Excel, databases, and online platforms
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
