A Warehouse and Inventory Associate job in Cary, NC is currently accepting applications. This is a contract position with our key environmental client. In this role, you will be responsible for management of public warehouse operations and inventory control. To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of a High School Diploma along with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
Warehouse and Inventory Associate Responsibilities:
* Managing site performed operations of receiving, picking, loading, and shipping of
products at a batch level in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
* Inventory accuracy and maintaining a high level of customer service is important aspect of this position.
* Warehouse and Inventory Control Associate will be a subject matter expert and a resource
* Providing guidance, training, and problem-solving services in the area of inventory control, D365, and warehouse operations
* Manages and monitors inventory accuracy to maintain levels of not less than
* 99% at all public warehouses and 98% contract manufacturing locations.
* Ensures book to book or cycle counts are performed and reconciled at each site monthly and that a physical count is performed and reconciled at least annually.
* Ensure public warehouses follow product quality best practices of First Expired
* First Out (FEFO), separation of damaged /compromised products from good stocks, and report all such damages immediately.
* Responsible to review public warehouse contracts in order to audit warehouse invoices for accuracy and adherence to contracted rates and submit for payment in a timely manner.
* Responsible to maintain compliance with policies and procedures within the scope of this function and monitor the performance of public warehouses using department established key performance indicators (KPI"s).
Warehouse and Inventory Associate Requirements:
* Minimum of 10 years experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
* Knowledge inventory control and reconciliation processes
* Microsoft Office Applications d. Knowledge and experience in warehousing and transportation
* Ability to prioritize and adjust to a frequently changing environment
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)
