Inventory & Shipping Warehouse Associate Positions + End-of-Season BONUS

Eden Brothers is hiring temporary employees to fill various warehouse roles during our busy Spring season.
Compensation: $17.50 per hour
Employment Type: TEMPORARY, Non-Exempt Full-Time (40 hours)
Job Assignment: Mid-January through Mid-May
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm, 40hrs/wk
We are offering a $1000 bonus at the end of our season for temporary employees in good standing!

Position Description:
The Warehouse Associate performs various duties in the warehouse related to production and fulfillment. These assignments can vary from day to day depending on the business needs.

• Tape gun
• Label printers
• Picking Carts
• Pallet Trucks
• Electric pallet jacks
• Manual pallet jacks

Possible use of packing tools:

• Seed packing machine
• Heat sealer
• Razor knife
• Label printer
• Scale
• Measuring cups and spoons

Responsibilities

• Audit completed orders prior to shipping.
• Prioritize order-picking sessions according to instruction from the Picking Supervisor
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records within our shipping program to verify accuracy
• Adjust or input shipping data such as weight and package size and choose appropriate shipping service
• Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
• Pack, seal, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping
• Pack products to prepare them for sale
• Restocking shelves
• Counting inventory
• Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
• Bring pallets of packed orders from the Packing area to Shipping
• Help carriers load trucks with shipped packages when needed
• Restock supplies at shipping/packing stations

Other duties, as needed.
Requirements
Recent experience in inventory or shipping (such as stocking and tracking)
Recent experience in manual labor (especially loading and unloading delivery trucks or packing orders)
At least 18 years old
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Consistent M-F; 9-5 availability
Reliable transportation
Stay on your feet for 8 hour shifts
Lift up to 50 pounds
Minimum High School Degree or equivalent
Knowledge in: Computer and/or tablet navigation
