Warehouse and Grounds Receiving Specialist

Hazeltine Nurseries, Inc., Located in Venice, FL has an opening for an Warehouse and Grounds/ Receiving Specialist to join our busy team and grow with us!

What do we do here? We are a landscape design build company with over 150 employees! We have a full team of architects, a construction installation department and a full-service Garden Maintenance Department as well as our very own retail center!

Company Location: 2401 N. River Road in Venice, FL

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Duties: The Warehouse and grounds/Receiving Specialist at HNI is responsible for the following

· This position is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the grounds and Warehouse and will require physical labor to assist with moving materials and cleaning and organizing the Warehouse and Grounds

Responsible for inspecting quality and accuracy (size, color, damage, qty, etc) of material ordered/delivered. Issues or concerns noted must be communicated immediately to purchasing agents prior to delivery being signed off on.

· Responsible for ensuring accuracy of receiving paperwork. Material should be received in, labeled, and staged to specific job. Project managers should be informed daily of materials received in.

· Responsible for tagging, staging and /or delivering materials to appropriate department/person(s) that ordered them.

· Responsible for the irrigation, drainage, aggregate, vita- mulch, tool room, and kitchen inventory. Monitor and communicate inventory needs to Purchaser daily to maintain appropriate stocking levels based on HNI Company stock points.

· Complete monthly physical inventory counts and enter data onto excel spreadsheet.

· Responsible for completing the end of month paperwork for the tool room and supply closet allocations, as well as HNI, MIT, and NUR month end in SAGE by designated deadline.

Unconditional Job Requirements:

• 2-3 years Receiving Experience
• Ability to use/learn skid steer to assist with offloading deliveries
• Attention to detail
• Intermediate MS Office (Excel) , Outlook, Data Entry
• Proven clear thinker, problem solver, well organized, level headed, solution oriented
• Self-starter, efficient, productive, works well with a team
• Experience using Sage Mas beneficial but not required.

You have to have the desire and ability to learn new things and learn the Ins and outs of your position and be part of a growing team!
