Form of workThis is a professional position that will work closely with our Warehouse Manager and several Warehouse lead supervisors to provide administrative assistance as directed. This position will grow as knowledge of the different departments is gained. The goal of Cape Warehouse is to provide excellent internal customer service to over 60 locations in our four-state footprint by providing each location with the merchandise they need on a timely/daily basis. Our warehouse team is responsible for receiving incoming merchandise from multiple suppliers and for shipping out merchandise on stock truck routes as well as, daily hub routes; accuracy and timing is key to our success.

Responsibilities include:
- Assist shipping and receiving department
- Assist in tracking and auditing vendor orders
- Maintain database with key elements of information
- Schedule personnel interviews and conduct initial telephone screenings for open positions
- Administer job screen testing for open positions
- Assist in any/all safety endeavors to provide/promote a good working environment for our employees
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
