Heritage Manor of Mandeville, a leader in the health care industry, is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Ward Clerk position at our facility in Mandeville, LA. The opening is for a Monday - Friday.
The Ward Clerk is responsible for daily operations of the Nurse's Station and assigned medical records duties.
***Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen***

Responsibilities and Duties
- Answer business telephone in a prompt and friendly manner.
- Answer resident call lights and summon help to resident rooms.
- Monitor front door for visitors and potential confused resident elopement.
- File lab reports, orders, and other items on chart as needed.
- Maintain orderly nurse's station including monitoring of traffic and noise in and around.
- Monitor supplies for nurse's station.
- Various other duties assigned by the Director of Nursing, Charge Nurse, or Administrator
- Qualifications and Skills
- A high school education or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred but not required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and smile in stressful situations.
- Ability to multi-task in an often fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Maintains effective interpersonal relationships.
- Good physical and mental health having sound judgment and high standards.
- Courteous and respectful in working with residents, families, and other employees.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Mandeville, LA 70471: Relocate before starting work (Required)
