The hours of the event are 10:30AM - 1:30PM on Wednesday, February 21st.
Multiple shifts available (1st and 2nd Shift). 8 hour shifts. Pay rates start at $17.75/hr for forklift operators, $20.00 for Inventory Control Coordinator/Specialists and $23.50 for Training and Safety Coordinator with benefits starting day 1 for all positions. Overtime is available.
Equipment Operator ($17.75/hr) Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, load, and unload materials in a warehouse or distribution center
- Safely transport goods to designated areas within the facility
- Use reach trucks, lift trucks, clamp trucks, and order pickers to efficiently handle and organize inventory
- Perform order picking and packing tasks as required
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
Training and Safety Coordinator Summary: ($23.50/hr)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Conduct new hire on the job training.
2. Conduct Delivery of Operations Orientation (Onboarding and Compliance)
3. Conducts on the job training sessions covering specified areas such as new procedures and coach for correction as requested by a supervisor or manager.
4. Provides position based safety training.
5. Conducts Material Handling Equipment Training.
6. Responsible for function specific training with CSW
7. Responsible for ensure teammates are trained on using OMU.
8. Maintains record of all trainings.
9. Provides focused safety training for teammates with 2 or more accidents
10. Conducts DC inspections monthly
11. Assists DC management in initial incident investigations
12. Emergency Response
13. Provides training to teammates on all 3 shifts.
Inventory Control Specialists ($20/hr)
- Create and maintain efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedure. Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection.
- Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy. Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Confirm completion of cycle count activity daily.
- Establish, maintain, and execute slotting programs using available tools (e.g., Tecsys).
- Determine disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including any possible recoup.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to Customer Service and Purchasing initiated cycle count requests.
- Ensure that customer returned products are saleable.
