Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification and verify the legal drinking age of customers
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food orders and catering events
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes
- Proficient in basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Experience with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for order processing
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of catering procedures for special events or large parties
- Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Note: Bartenders may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
