Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and respond to any issues or concerns
Skills:
- Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient in math, including basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a professional manner
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and practices in the food industry
- Retail math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and ability to work as part of a team
