Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system (Point of Sale)
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Clear and clean tables after customers have finished dining
- Assist with bussing duties as needed
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar environment
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Proficiency in using POS systems, preferably Aloha POS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to upsell menu items and provide recommendations to customers
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
