Authority Brands is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Vice President of Total Rewards and Payroll. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and day-to-day operations of comprehensive compensation, benefits, payroll, and recognition programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a Total Rewards and Payroll strategy in conjunction with the SVP of Human Resources that aligns with the organization's business objectives and supports a high-performance culture.
  • Lead the annual review, design, and day-to-day management of competitive and cost-effective compensation, benefits, and Payroll programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Oversee the evaluation and benchmarking of current compensation, benefits, and Payroll programs to ensure they remain competitive and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic guidance on the design and execution of employee recognition and rewards programs in partnership with the SVP of HR to foster a culture of appreciation and motivation.
  • Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, compliance with relevant regulations, and the maintenance of payroll records.
  • Collaborate with the SVP of HR and senior leadership to ensure that Total Rewards and Payroll initiatives are integrated with broader HR and business strategies.
  • Drive the communication and education of Total Rewards and Payroll programs to employees, ensuring understanding and appreciation of the value of the programs offered.
  • Partner with the finance team to manage the budgeting and forecasting processes related to Total Rewards and Payroll programs.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in Total Rewards and Payroll, and recommend adjustments to programs as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP, SPHR) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, including extensive experience in compensation, benefits, payroll design, implementation, and day-to-day operations.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing Total Rewards and Payroll strategies that drive employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in compensation, benefits, payroll, and recognition programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Experience working in a multi-site, franchise, or service-oriented industry is a plus.
