- Working with the CTO, initially develop, then annually update, a 3-5 year technology roadmap considering the evolving business strategy, market trends, competitive landscape and internal needs and capabilities.
- Identify innovative and emerging technologies for evaluation by staying informed and connected with education and technology industries and driving internal assessment, business case and potentially implementation efforts.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment of strategic and operational initiatives. Facilitate communication and coordination across teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Manage technology vendor and procurement processes, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to optimize sourcing relationships. Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
- As required, lead and oversee M&A technology assessment and integration projects, responsible for tracking milestones, tasks and risks associated with the integration.
- Identify, gain approval, and execute workforce technology and change management efforts to enhance and optimize the fully remote technical experience of our employees.
- Lead the implementation of governance initiatives and programs. Work cross-functionally to integrate governance requirements into business processes.
- Administrate policy tool and technology policies ensure period reviews and adherence.
- Define, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of programs and initiatives. Implement continuous improvement strategies based on KPI insights.
- Facilitate quarterly technology steering committee discussions, fostering collaboration and decision-making among key stakeholders.
- Support technology financial and budget activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated 15-20 years of technology strategy, analysis, project management and governance.
- Experience managing expense budgets.
- Be driven by the practical implementation and use of technology to meet operational needs and respect for employee experience and security controls.
- Proven ability to recruit, motivate and develop a superior team and establish clear ownership and definition of success.
- Demonstrates experience building relationships and collaborating with colleagues across the organization.
- Ability to travel as necessary based on enterprise needs
