Women’s Care is a fast paced and growing specialty women’s health physician group founded in 1998 by a small group of obstetricians and gynecologists in Florida. The group is currently comprised of more than 100 outpatient locations across Florida, Kentucky, Arizona, and California where over 400 healthcare providers care for more than 760,000 patients annually. Their providers deliver more than 22,000 babies per year in addition to meeting the care needs for patients in need of obstetrical, preventive, and gynecological visits. Title

Vice President, Payor Contracting

Reporting Relationship

The Vice President of Payor Contracting will report to Kim Smith, Chief Financial Officer

Scope and Accountability

  • Proactively manage relationships with commercial and governmental payors negotiating favorable contract terms
  • Monitor and analyze payor trends and market conditions to stay ahead of the curve and adapt the contracting strategy as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders involved in Payor Contracting, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members involved in Payor Contracting.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve Payor Contracting processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • To effectively address the enterprise's current and future needs, it is essential to possess a thorough understanding and familiarity with the No Surprises Act and any future policy implications
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to payor practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Payor Contracting and payor relations, with a track record of successful negotiations and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including reimbursement models, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • trong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Experience working collaboratively with other departments and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of professionals involved in Payor Contracting.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of commercial and governmental payors and their contracting processes.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in staying in tune to the latest payor landscape
