Vice President - Operations, Premier Trust


 

Location:  4465 South Jones Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89103

Role Type: Full Time

Salary:  $100,000 - $115,000 per year + annual bonus.

Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Summary:

The Vice President, Operations assists the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in overseeing and managing the business operations of Premier Trust, a leading provider of trust and fiduciary services. The Vice President, Operations works closely with the COO, the Head of Compliance, the Board of Directors, and other senior leaders to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of trust administration, compliance, strategy, and operations. The Vice President, Operations also supports the COO in developing and implementing policies and procedures, preparing reports and presentations, and handling personnel and administrative matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the COO in the administration of the business of Premier Trust, including Trust Administration, Compliance, Strategy and Operations.
  • Work with the Head of Compliance to manage the firm’s Internal Audit Function.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge regarding the trust industry and major trends.
  • Assist in the administration of personnel reporting to the COO.
  • Assist in the management of the schedule and preparation of agenda and materials for key meetings, including Board of Directors.
  • Assist in reporting the status and timing of litigation, regulatory and internal audit concerns.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for corporate leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Provide excellent communication to management to include the Board of Directors and Osaic’s shared services.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the trust industry, with at least 5 years of management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of trust administration, compliance, strategy, and operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, staff, regulators, auditors, and board members.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to comply with the compliance policies and procedures and report any suspicious activity to the BSA/Compliance Officer.
  • Ability to work safely and adhere to the OSHA Act of 1970 and other applicable regulations.
