About the Role: As the Vice President of Supply Chain, you will shape MeriCal's Supply Chain strategy and operations. From procurement to distribution, oversee all aspects to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute comprehensive Supply Chain strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate Supply Chain strategies with overall business plans.
- Evaluate supplier performance and manage contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
- Implement inventory control policies to optimize levels and minimize costs.
- Oversee transportation operations to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with distribution partners to streamline order fulfillment processes.
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the Supply Chain.
- Analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Monitor global market trends and regulatory changes to proactively address risks and opportunities.
Qualifications to be a VP Supply Chain:
- Minimum of 10 years of Supply Chain management experience in the nutritional supplement or related industry.
- Professional designations such as CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, CLP, CSCMP, or CIPS are highly desirable.
- Proven track record of success in strategic planning, supplier management, and cost optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the nutritional supplement industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
